The first Champ show for the girls and both lookin very raw compared to other pups. Grace was in first in minor pup and was placed 5th, then Lottie was in the older puppy class and was placed 4th - really pleased with both the girls. A long day but both have an exciting future.
The girls had their first show and were incredibly well behaved, Lottie was placed in the breed class and then went on to win the puppy stakes class under the Best in Show judge!! Grace was unplaced in the breed but was 3rd in a special puppy class, she is not quite as mature as Lottie. A good day overall with some very tired pups at the end.

The girls, Lottie (P. Golden Pearl) and Grace (P. Golden Vision) had their first show today. Unfortunately there was a change of judge and a Golden Retriever lady was judging. Lottie went very well in a large junior class but was not placed, Hector was 3rd in his first OIpen class, and Grace was 2nd in AV Gundog puppy. I was delighted with them behaving and pigeon-watching, we will see how they behave next weekend!!!

Today was a real test for Hector a large noisy hall, he came through with flying colours and was placed 4th in his first post graduate class. Ben and Jacques both performed well but were not to the judges liking on the day.
Asha came for a day out and to see her breeder, she could not really understand why people kept looking at her playing in the outdoor area, living with pointers she believes she is a pointer not a Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer!
Zebedee did us proud with a 4th place in his first Open class at Crufts.

It was a boys day out to this show in fact father and son with Zebedee and George. Unfortunately, Maisie had decided she would come in season after all.
Zebedee had a good day winning Open in AV Gundog and Reserve best gundog, then short listed in the Reserve Best of Breed challenge. George was very 'happy'!! He was 3rd in a very large any variety post graduate class and then Zebedee finished the day by winning the Any Variety Open class.

I decided to take Blaze out to the match knowing they had a veteran class. Needless to say he was thrilled and can still pogo!! He was delighted to be strutting his stuff again and won the veteran class - yippee. He will be representing the club next year in the Essex Top Dog match in the veteran classes - not bad for an old boy of eleven and a half.

Lovely to be out at a show again, the Panoply pogos out for the day included: Ben, George, Jacques , Maisie and Blaze!
The day did not start so well with my truck being hit in the car park, fortunately all dogs ok and into the show we went.
Ben was in junior and won, and.. then won novice. What a lovely start. George was next and was so excited to be out I had to stand him on the floor rather than the plastic mats because he kept slipping with his hot feet. Made it very difficult and thought we had blown it but, no he was placed first.
Next was Jacques who had moved up to the 'big boys' class - Open; mainly to give me breathing space between classes; he was placed third behind two show champions so was delighted with that.
Maisie was out next wagging her tail constantly and was third in junior and second in novice. Really pleased considering how immature she is for her age.
You might be wondering where Blaze was whilst this was going on... he was out for the day pogoing in the car park and ventured in to greet everyone before the show started.
We came home a happy gang delighted with everyone's performance.

Lily's puppies safely arrived on the 25th October, six bitches and two dogs. All have doubled their weight in the first week and are doing well. Blaze has checked up on them to ensure all are behaving when Lily is out playing. Looking forward to eyes and ears opening now.

Lily is expecting puppies today sired by Kiswahili Catcher in the Rye. Only orange and white puppies expected with both parents being this colour - I am hoping to have another very pale beautiful bitch like Mollie and Lily. Will update as soon as she has produced.
